The Book is both wild and scatter. As a wild, it substitutes for any regular pay symbol to complete or improve line wins. Each book you land also increments the Wild Collection Meter on the left side of the screen.
The meter is inspired by Homer’s Odyssey – Odysseus’ ship moves 1 step closer to Ithaca with each book collected. Land 99 wilds to fill the meter completely and trigger the bonus round, exactly as if you had landed 3+ book scatters on a single spin. No scatter win is awarded; landing 4, 5, or more books makes no difference.
